Legal Notice for Seaview Rental

Seaview, Quarry, Glenelg. IV40 8JT

This agreement sets out the terms on which “Seaview” lets you, the Tenant, the accommodation. It is a condition of rental that these terms and conditions are accepted and by proceeding with the booking you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted these conditions.

Period

The let will be for the period inclusive as agreed and paid for Seaview from 3pm on the day of entry until 10am on the date of departure.      

Consideration

The total rental shall be as agreed in pounds sterling on a self-catering basis.

Payment Terms

A payment of 30% of the rental is required before the booking can be confirmed. The balance of the full rental must be paid by one month prior to commencement of the letting period. Payments should be by sterling cheque drawn on a U.K. bank payable to “Mrs Maria Blair” and be sent to Mrs Blair, 33 Faulds Gate, Kincorth, Aberdeen AB12 5QX or by Bank Transfer to our nominated bank in the UK.

Should you cancel, the payment, less any expenses incurred will only be refunded in the event that Seaview is re-let. In the event that the final payment has not been received by one month prior to the commencement of the tenancy, the tenant will be deemed to have cancelled the tenancy and the accommodation shall re-let.

Insurance

The proprietors of “Seaview”, cannot accept liability for personal injury or illness or loss or damage to luggage or other belongings or for any delay inconvenience or other loss. A proper respect for the nature of the terrain and facilities and the vagaries of the Scottish weather must be accepted. You and your party will be solely responsible for your personal safety and without prejudice to that generality any equipment that is used is entirely at your own risk.

Accommodation

You will have the use of “Seaview” for up to 10 persons on a self-catering basis, for the agreed and paid for period of tenancy. Electric, Oil Central Heating and Linen (but not towels) are all included. Guests are expected to arrive at around 3.00pm on the arrival date and leave by 10.00am on the day of departure. This is to allow servicing and cleaning of the property.

The tenant will be responsible for replacing any items that are damaged during the tenancy. Tenants are asked to treat all fabrics and furniture with care and avoid spilling drinks or burning holes with cigarettes. Tenants will be charged for any damage done.
